  • Will my medical insurance cover the full cost of the consultation?
This will depend on your insurer. Please contact them for a preauthorisation code before we meet. Some companies will cover the full cost, but others will only cover a shorter appointment time.
  • How do I book an appointment?
You can book an appointment by contacting me directly via the form on this page, emailing me on info@melmartindietitian.com, or you can send me a watsapp message and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. We can arrange a date and time directly and your payment method will depend on if you are self paying or covered with health insurance.
  • What if I need to cancel my appointment?
I ask that you please contact me at least 24 hours prior to the appointment if you need to cancel/reschedule. However I know that will little ones this is not always possible, and so I will always try to help with rescheduling where possible. If we are meeting in person there may be a room cost attached which unfortunately would be un-refundable.
  • How do I know if I need an in person or virtual appointment?
We can talk through this before we book the appointment. For many families, a virtual appointment will suit well if you can send me some information before we meet. For others, such as younger babies needing growth monitoring or for breastfeeding support, I would suggest an in person appointment.
